Artist Uses Images From “National Geographic” to Create Daily Collages

Jromang is an artist and the creator of a project called Daily National Geographic Collages where he makes daily collages using one National Geographic magazine at a time.

“I decided to challenge myself to fill a sketchbook (I am currently on my third),” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “To further my challenge I have 3 rules. First, all photos must come from the same National Geographic Magazine. Second, I can only use scissors to cut out the photos. Third, they must be able to fit into my 5×7 sketchbook.”

According to jromang, the collages aren’t created with a preconceived intention, they are “spontaneous to the moment and created with the thought of the Elements of Art and Design.”

If you are interested in seeing the Daily National Geographic Collages, have a look on his Instagram account or check him out on Redbubble where he shares some of his creations.
