Get Intrigued by Roy’s Miniature World

Roy Tyson is the urban artist behind Roy’s People who creates unique images and installations combining miniature people with urban backgrounds of city life. He gets inspiration from everything from modern art scenes to the books that he’s reading. He learned his trade after he realized that he wanted to start taking pictures of these figurines.

In the 2 years since he began photographing his tiny wonderful scenes, his work has been met with success and popularity both within and outside the art community. Tyson succeeded in transforming something that was supposed to be a hobby into a full-time career. He has done commissions for many brands such as Nikon, Citroen, Gillette, Time Out, The Other Art Fair, and many others.

He is also a founder of the Roy’s People Art Fair, along with artist Sam Peacock. The idea of this fair is to provide an opportunity for artists to exhibit and promote their work to art lovers.
