Elizabeth Sagan, for example, is turning her enormous library into impressive installations and already has over 100,000 people following her work on Instagram. What's the last book you picked up because of the cover? 📚 The new @fairyloot box is here and has a book that I'm interested in, even though I'm not usually into pirate books: These Rebel Waves by @sara_raasch. I've seen it everywhere and when I discovered it's going to be into the next #fairyloot box I was so excited. Seeing it in person was even cooler! The cover looks and feels amazing! 📚 Meanwhile, a small reading update: holy moly I finished A Thousand Splendid Suns and it was WONDERFUL. Gut-wrenching and heartbreaking, but amazing. What's something that you can't stand about today's society? 📚 So right now I'm at that training that I told you about in the stories. I won't be able to answer the comments right away, but I'll do it when I'll be back home. What are you currently reading? 📚 I'm about to start taking the new batch of pics – which is good and bad. It's good cause damn I need a biiit of change, make my feed more colourful and stuff, but it's a bad thing because I know I'll barely have time to read… now, now when I finally got into Throne of Glass series 😭 I kid you not, today, while I was ironing the new backgrounds (I ironed today more than I ironed in my entire life), I couldn't stop thinking about Manon and how Asterin said "witchlings are sacred, Manon. What's one book/series that you hated at first but then it turned out to be super good? 📚 You know what I'm gonna talk about. Throne of Glass. When I read the first book, I couldn't stand Celaena. I didn't believe her badassness, I didn't believe her as a character. She didn't do anything to show she's the best assassin in Adarlan, and I hated that stupid love triangle. Plus, the plot of the book was stupid. Being the King's Champion isn't the kind of job that would require a contest. 📚 So for more than a year I didn't touch any other book in this series. Until exactly 20 days ago when I was in the mood for something heartbreaking and I rememberd Sam (there was a small fanfic that I read on Insta that reminded me of him). So I started The Assassin's Blade and rolled my eyes so much I swear I could see the back of my head. Still, I didn't like it. And after finishing it, on a whim, I started Crown of Midnight. Cute, but average. But it made me read Heir of Fire. And oh boy. 📚 The funny thing is, I barely remember what happens in every book. Have you completed your Goodreads challenge? How many books did you plan to read this year? How many books have you read so far? 📚 I've read 49 books out of 52, so I'm super close. And next year my challenge will be the same – 52 books, one per week. I think it's fair enough and if I keep reading at least 52 books per year for the rest of my life I'm going to be satisfied. 📚 I'm rarely buying physical books anymore, so the books that I get from bookboxes are a blessing haha. Especially since they are signed. I used to think that signed books are so hard to get – not that I was wrong, I still think that. Aside from bookboxes, how else can you get your hands on a signed book if you're not catching an author on tour or if they are not coming to the book fairs in your city?
