Brazilian artist Butcher Billy, who has long amazed us with his pop-inspired art, recently presented another impressive project titled Guitar Heroes. He decided to reimagine guitar legends like Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and many others as comic book heroes.
“This series was a lot of fun for me to work on.” – Billy said about the project. “There are a lot of Easter eggs for rock fans— for example, the Prince symbol in the Green Lantern ring. I grew up idolizing many of these guitarists, so it made sense for me to imagine them as actual superheroes.”
