PEZ is one of the most recognizable treats in the world thanks to their unique brick shape and thematic dispenser designs. It’s been a staple childhood treat for numerous people and has also found its way into pop culture.
This candy originated more than 90 years in Austria as a peppermint sweet and quickly spread to other countries. In the United States, PEZ is being made in the same family-owned factory in Connecticut, since 1973.
Food Insider decided to visit this factory and managed to get a rare glimpse into the process of making these awesome candies.
