With so many technologic advancements, more artists are turning to computers in order to create sci-fi art. But South Korean concept artist Jae Cheol Park still prefers to do it the old-fashioned way; with a pen.
This talented artist, who also goes by name Paperblue, does all sorts of sci-fi art, but the ones we liked the best were his visualizations of futuristic cities. The way Park manages to sketch these cities by hand with such precision and incorporate so many details is almost as impressive as his imagination.
He sometimes imagines the cities of the future to be futuristic slums that are stacked on each other, while at other times he gets inspired by fantasy elements.
