If you enjoy fashion and classic novels in equal measure, Little Women Atelier is about to become your favorite new brand. It was founded by two sisters whose love for Louisa May Alcott’s novel inspired a line of heirloom-quality linen clothing that looks straight out of this timeless classic.

Little Women Atelier was founded by sisters Luiza and Julia, who fell in love with sawing thanks to a group of creative women who used to make clothes for them from a young age. Their mother and grandma read them books and taught them cross-stitching, knitting, and sewing, and all these passions came together when Luiza and Julia decided to start their own brand.

This amazing duo developed their own aesthetic while making clothes for their own daughters, and this eventually led to the launch of Little Women Atelier. The name of their brand is a homage to the March sisters because they “walked in the morning garden, bravely met the vicissitudes of fate, and shared simple happiness.”

Little Women Atelier’s designs will take you centuries into the past, and Luiza and Julia describe them as “a tradition passed from mother to daughter.” Sustainability is their guiding light, and that’s one of the reasons why their dresses are thoughtfully made-to-order from eco-friendly linen, while all the leftovers go toward making scarfs, buttons, and bags for storing spare buttons.
