He’s on a mission to provide real, practical advice for growing plants, and he has all the credentials to get the job done since he’s been taking care of them for years.
Di Lallo grew up surrounded by plants and was exposed to gardening by his family at a pretty young age. He mostly took care of outdoor plants until middle school, when he turned his attention to indoor plants in an attempt to purify the air in his house because his father was smoking a lot.
Di Lallo gathered so much knowledge about plant care over the years that one of his friends encouraged him to start his own blog. Ohio Tropics was born and blossomed into such a huge success that Di Lallo eventually decided to quit his job as a chemical engineer and work as a content creator full-time, eventually publishing several books, including Houseplant Warrior.
