Mark Rox is a Spain-based artist who creates some of the most impressive 3D murals that we have ever seen. His works are so detailed and realistic that you will think walls are coming to life.
Rox dives into all sorts of different subjects when creating his pieces. Sometimes, it will be an optical illusion of a street that you will think you walk into, an old pirate ship emerging from the wall and seemingly sailing towards you, or Marvel’s superhero Hulk crashing through bricks.
Rox has been active as a street artist since 2008 while also working in other mediums including paintings, digital art, and more. He estimates that he created more than 5,000 works that are scattered all over the world.
“Like many modern artists, I started drawing from sketches at school and the first walls of my city. By honing my drawing skills daily, I was able to achieve rapid growth in graffiti culture. I began to receive orders for wall painting from various institutions and organizations. I learned how to make master classes and teach people. After that, I opened a painting studio and recruited a team with which I implement the most daring projects,” Rox shares about his creative journey.
