]]>Larson’s art was very well known between 1980-1995, and we’re sure he’d be the world’s most popular artist if we had social media back then. The Far Side was an iconic comic panel that was loved by so many people. And now it’s finally becoming available online.
Larson shared a letter on his new website explaining why he has been offline for so long. He wrote that, just before he retired, “the Internet was a cute little Internet-ling, its cold, digital eyes just starting to open.” He’s now sure that the security and graphics are developed enough to enable him online presence without compromise, and fans couldn’t be happier about it. And now we’re waiting for him to open his Instagram account!

]]>“I used to think a lot about it, and last year I started to make a comic series with these ‘voices’, which I turned into 3 ghosts with different personalities,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda. “I found art and humor to be the best way for me to share my thoughts and inner conflicts, and the coolest part of it is to find how many people relate to the situations I often come through!”
To create her artwork, she gets inspired by daily situations, the voices in her head and her adorable black cat. She documents her comic on Instagram where her photos regularly get thousands of likes from her 30 thousand followers. You can also find Larkness on her other social media accounts, such as Facebook.

“I’ve written down all the little nuggets of innocent quips Avy’s dropped from when she first started forming longer sentences at 2, and one day decided to create them into a comic to share with everyone and make their day a little more smiley.”
These funny illustrations are mostly based on real situations and Avy’s conversations with her cat called Sugar. The interesting thing, though, is that Sugar is not a real cat, but Avy’s stuffed toy and her faithful companion.
