]]>Wong is an artist based in Perth Australia, who specializes in paper art. He uses colorful Bristol board to create tiny sculptures. More traditional paper art sticks to one technique to create intricate paper sculptures – Origami artist, for example, never cut or glue their paper, only fold it. Wong, on the other hand, uses whatever technique he finds useful for his sculptures.
Wong’s art focuses on nature. He creates schools of fish, potted plants, tiny hedgehogs – and they’re all surprisingly realistic! The only thing that discloses the fact that these are statues and not actual animals or plants is the fact that they’re tiny. You’ll notice that most of Wong’s creations on Instagram are shot when they’re held in the palm of his hand or balance on the tip of his finger – which only makes the art even more impressive, as he has to get all those little details right on a tiny scale!

Fine, make the right fold to keep those to pieces together.
It’s not an easy art, and it takes time to learn how to manipulate the paper properly. Luckily, we don’t have to but books or go to classes – we have the internet! Jo Nakashima’s YouTube channel is dedicated to Origami video tutorials that will help even a total newbie to get the hang of things. And if even if you don’t want to do it yourself – watching the videos and seeing how regulars pieces of paper magically turn into your favorite animal or a beautiful flower is just as fun!

]]>The Keifer Technic Showroom is located in Bad Gleichinberg, Austria. It was designed by Ernst Giselbrecht. The building changes its structure according to the weather as well as sunshine. It is technically a building with a glass exterior and an extra shading that covers the building to protect occupants against the harsh sun rays. This means that it also provides a beautiful view when it rains.
Its facade has 112 aluminum tiles with 56 motors that move them from place to place. The process of changing the facade takes on a few seconds. Watching it unfold is like creating an origami. It is satisfying to watch.
