Tattoo Artist Makes Lyrics Video for Talking Heads’ “This Must Be the Place” Using Tattoos

It’s not uncommon for people to create fan-made music videos for their favorite songs. But the way tattoo artist Rachel Baldwin did it is really amazing.

Baldwin’s favorite song is Talking Heads’ hit track “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody).” A year ago, this Liverpool, UK native came up with an idea to make a lyrics music video for the 1983 hit track using tattoos.

Baldwin reached out to fellow tattoo enthusiasts in order to see whether they would be interested in getting a custom tattoo with one of the lines from “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody).” After finding enough volunteers, she went on to create a unique tattoo design for every line and ink it on the skin of the participants.

After wrapping up the tattoos, Baldwin recently made the final edition of the music video and shared it on TikTok. And it is safe to say that the results are amazing.

Every single tattoo created by Baldwin can stand out by itself while also creating a masterpiece when put together.
