Teens Hilariously Fail to Guess Their Parents’ Favorite ’90s Songs

If you spent some time on YouTube in the past several years, you have probably stumbled upon one of the popular “react videos” produced by FBE. While most of these videos have people reacting to stuff, lately the REACT channel started doing a series of videos called ” Do They Know it?” in which reactors also try to guess certain movies or songs. This often results in entertaining and funny content, and that was the case with the latest entry that had teens trying to guess their parents’ favorite songs from the ’90s.

Seven parents each chose their favorite ’90s song, and then joined their teenage kids – Carson, Jaxon, Jordan, Mikaela, Rae, Troy, Jayka – in front of the camera to see whether they can guess the song or the artist. The songs featured in the video ranged from rap and rock to pop, but it didn’t matter since the teens hilariously failed to guess most of them.

They had the most trouble with rock music, since only Carson was able to recognize Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters,” but even he didn’t know the artist. Similar thing was with Counting Crow’s “Mr. Jones,” with only three of them knowing the song but failing to recognize the band.

Pop, on the other hand, had better success with the teens, since all of them recognizing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” while five of them also knew the artist.
