These Architectural Designs Combine Animal Figures

Italian architect and graphic designer Federico Babina loves to explore the world through the eyes of a child.

“Children are able to have a vision of things totally uninhibited and without the conditioning of the experience. The children’s drawings are always amazing and beautiful in their spontaneous simplicity and clarity,” he wrote on his website.

Babina is known for combining architecture with interesting everyday life encounters. Every unique illustration is inspired by structural design and created with a twist. His latest series titled, PLANIMAL, explores the connection between architecture and nature.

The project reimagines various animals as common plans of architectural spaces, such as buildings, houses, and churches. Scroll down to see his wonderful creations.
