Let’s face it. Most of us have a negative view of sharks.
When we hear the word shark, the thought that often comes up to our mind are the sharks that will devour us every chance they can get, and that’s because it’s how the media has portrayed sharks over the past few decades.
From the classic film Jaws to the countless classic films that it paved the way for and inspired, we cannot deny that most of us would NOT want to get anywhere near a shark.
That’s something this artist wants to change.
According to his Instagram page, Doug Batista’s mission is to “purify the negative image of sharks, by offering positive and creative solutions, with art!”
While that may seem like a tall task, after look at his recent illustrations, it certainly seems like a reality.
