Crabs know how to make good use of their claws. They help them gather food, defend themselves, and apparently steal cameras from the divers.
Diver Duran Roberts, who lives in the Bahamas, recently shared a video in which a crab stole his underwater camera and proceeded to film itself just like it’s making a vlog.
The clip, which went viral on Instagram, features a crab grabbing the camera from Roberts and then descending to the ocean floor. He seemed to quite like the experience, as he almost fought Roberts when he attempted to get the camera back.
The video ended up garnering quite a lot of attention on social media, getting 1.5 million views. Instagram users loved the content and got inspired to share a number of funny jokes.
“He has been posting dances on TikTok- solid side shuffle on my guy,” one person wrote.
“Hi guys ! Welcome to my blog ! So huuuh, today we’re gonna … WAIT !!! MY CAMERA !!!” another person added.
After an overwhelmingly positive response to the video, Roberts shared the full version that shows the crab walking around with the camera and apparently looking for the best angle.
