Salih Gonenli is a freelance illustrator focused on detailed doodlesque style illustrations with a little touch of watercolor. While being a student, the Turkey-based artist worked at book publishing and shirt design companies as a graphic designer and illustrator. After graduating collage, Gonenli decided to begin his freelance career.
“Since then, I’ve been working as a freelance illustrator and creating art for both personal projects and commissions,” the artist told Bored Panda. “I created a series of doodle style illustrations of Pokémon types. Every Pokémon is included in its own element type within the icon of the element.”
