Artist Creates Digital Art That Jumps Out of Paper

29-year-old digital artist Tullius Heuer creates artwork that literally jumps off the page. The Brazilian artist relies mostly on Photoshop, creating 3D manipulations that draw the viewer in.

After earning a degree in I.T, he switched gears and now works full time as a freelance artist, creating anything from CD covers, posters, and book covers to logos and advertisements.

“I discovered Photoshop at 17 for fun, without even imagining that I could become a professional in the field,” he shared with Bored Panda. “The Living Sketches project came about when I was attending a famous art contest site called Worth1000, where I learned to stimulate my creativity.”

According to Heuer, each illustration takes between 9 to 10 hours to finish. “My personal artworks consist in my thoughts and feelings about life and existence,” he shares on his personal website. “I don’t have a specific theme to focus in my works, but most of them usually have strong emotional touches with positive messages.”
