Artist Creates Intricate Paintings With Multicolored Paint

This Utah based artist and painter, Stephanie Clark creates special works of art with multi-colored paint. She doesn’t follow the traditional method of painting, rather she uses embroidery as well as strands of floss. She brings lots of colors to the mix and paints landscapes, houses and other scenes that look surreal, like they exist in our world.

Stephanie says she follows a normal process and started out as a painter and did a little bit of embroidery work. She uses images as well as color references for her pieces. She starts by laying out the pallet of floss or thread. They start to blend in no time.

This talented artist works on different scales and the time frame required to create one piece depends on the size as well as the details. Smaller houses take about 6 hours to create while landscapes take close to 20 hours.
