Artist Creates Moody Animal Puns to Remind Us It’s OK to Be Sad

Seen through numerous filters on social media, lives of people around you may seem perfect while your own is so far away from that. Illustrator Lim Heng Swee started drawing moody animals in order to show everyone that not being okay all the time is completely cool.

“I always think that positive energy is overrated, sometimes we need to be true to yourself,” Swee writes. “It’s ok to be sad, moody, frustrated sometimes, all we need to do is rest, do nothing, be quiet a little while. The negative feeling will be digesting through time. At the time when we healed, we know we will be a better and happier person.”
