If you grew up wanting to be an artist someday, then one of your goals in life at some point must have been to have your very own comic book series. But, just like every other artist or aspiring artist can relate to, something got in the way and you never really decided to pursue it.
Beck went through a similar phase in her life.
Growing up, she’s always wanted to make her own comics, but she felt like she didn’t have the skills necessary to pull one off. She mustered up enough courage once, drawing her big sister as a superhero, but she never really pursued it — until now.
After 20 years of waiting for the “right time”, Beck has finally started to make her own comics, and it’s been pretty great so far.
Illustrating anything from what makes her happy and her thoughts, to superheroes, her anxieties, as well as her time in Japan, Becks’ comics are a blast to read and a great way to start off your day with a smile.
