Artist Uses Broken Watches to Create Steampunk Sculptures

It’s amazing what you can create if you only have a creative mind and a knack for tinkering.

A good example of this Dan Tanenbaum.

A technology entrepreneur and a collector of fine timepieces, Dan has always found himself fascinated by the precision and accuracy of watches. But, at the same time, Dan is also different from other collectors. He’s not just into collecting watches, he’s also turning them into something else completely — something new and amazing.

Using broken-down timepieces that would have otherwise just been thrown away, Dan creates intricate and miniature art.

What started initially as solely about miniature motorcycles now include a series of art pieces that range from anything such as motorcycles, skulls, cameras, and even iconic characters from the Star Wars franchise.

These steampunk creatures take somewhere around 30-50 hours to finish and are definitely well worth your time.
