Zen Pencils, a cartoon blog made by Gavin Aung Than, an artist from Melbourne, Australia isn’t an ordinary piece of work; the artist adapts inspirational quotes into the comic stories. The cartoonist quit his unfulfilling, 8-year long job in a corporate design industry to focus on his true passion. He launched his Zen Pencils project in 2012 which become his dream job.
Gavin adapts quotes from everyone; poets, presidents, comedians, colonels, ordinary people… anyone who challenges his way of thinking wakes his imagination up or just makes him laugh.
