These cats have been constant visitors at the Hiroshima Onomichi City Museum for close to 2 years. They have planned their entrance for so long with no success.
Initially, it was one black cat, and it arrived in June 2016. After trying to get in unsuccessfully, he brought his friend along. Now they work together to pass security almost every day.
Museum staff has named both cats Ken-chan and Go-chan. The cats became internet sensations when the video surfaced on Twitter.
Almost every day, the stealthy cats hover by the museum’s automatic doors to sneak past security. Sadly, their efforts fail daily, and they are ushered out by the security guard. Lots of people have suggested that the cats be let in, but this goes against the museum’s “no animal” policy.
The cats may never get to cross the doors, but they are now celebrities. Watch the video here:
