Are you a fan of tiny, adorable things? Well, then you’ll love the works of ceramic artist Jon Almeda. This Hawaii-based ceramist amazes his Instagram followers on a daily bases with his tremendous skills when it comes to shaping clay. Using a miniature clay wheel, Almeda creates impressive tiny vases that are not bigger than a matchbox. But despite being a lot smaller, his vases don’t lack the look or functionality of their regular-sized counterparts. See it for yourself below.

While I was outside looking for small things to put in this vase, I realized I have walked past these mini flowers everyday and never even noticed them until. It wasn’t just these, but a whole ecosystem thriving in a 2’x10’ foliage strip next to where my car is parked. In a few minutes I saw a baby gecko, an ant community and tiny blooms and ferns. I think it is easy to get caught up in the big picture and look past the little details. This was just a little reminder of why I enjoy working small. This piece and many more were listed for sale in my web shop today. Link in bio. Thanks for allowing me to do what I love! ❤️ #whphidden #mini #miniature #flowerarrangement #dailymini #nothingisordinary #forage #plantsmakepeoplehappy
