Christopher Cowley from Kilmarnock, Scotland is a self-taught artist and entrepreneur who hand-paints custom artwork on various types of clothing, mostly on shoes. He owns a small business called Creative Customs and has been painting shoes since 2013.
“All my work is done to the highest standard and all my designs are protected to ensure durability,” the artist shared on his Etsy store. Not so long ago, Cowley’s work went viral on Facebook.
“The response the shoes received was overwhelming and I got a lot of new work out of it,” Cowley shared on Bored Panda. “People were coming to me with amazing ideas and asking me to put them onto their shoes for them. I’ve put a lot of effort into making this business work, but I never anticipated that response. It was such a good feeling.”
