Do you believe in doppelgängers? Instagram user same.de.la.same collects photographs of ordinary people who look like celebrities. The creator of the lookalike community is a 31-year-old guy named Freddy Slivinski.
The Uruguay-born, Israel-based Slivinski works as a copywriter and likes to create new things. His inspiration for his Instagram page was a game he used to play with his twin brother when they would go out and try to find ordinary people that resembled famous people. While doing his research, he learned a lot of things about the doppelgängers life.
“I discovered the amazing life of lookalikes. They live like stars, like rock stars: they act in commercials, sing on shows, go on TV programs, they make money just because of this,” Slivinski told Bored Panda. “They are like famous celebrities, and only because they look like them. So I decided that I want everyone in the world to know about their amazing stories. I want to bring these amazing stories to the entire world.”
