Colorful Umbrellas Float Above a Boutique-Line Passageway In Paris

Umbrella Sky Project is an art installation of hundreds of multicolor umbrellas that were suspended above the city streets, turning traditional shopping streets into a colorful and exciting attraction. It started in 2012 as part of the local Agitagueda Art Festival in Portugal. Since then, the project, created by Sextafeira Produções, has saturated more than 25 locations around the world.

This time, the project takes public art to a new heights, as 800 “umbrellas,” float above a boutique-lined passageway in Paris. When people enter Le Village Royal, they are taken to a dazzling street where you can see multicolored canopy of umbrellas, transforming the passageway into a magical and romantic place.
