Comic Depicts Very Special Bond Between Owner and His Cat

Yash Pandit is an artist who has many descriptions to his name. He says that he is a “filmmaker sometimes, writer mostly, storyteller always.” Just like many people these days, the Mumbai, India-based artist also deals with mental health issues.

Although he was taking proper care of his type 1 rapid cycling bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, he still needed a special someone to support him; his furry friend named Bagheera.

“He will convince you that he’s sweet and calm, and then pounce on you when you look away,” Pandit told Bored Panda. “He’s the friendliest cat I’ve ever seen, has no problem in loving and greeting anyone new.”

To show how Bagheera changed his life, the artist made a cute comic, however, he repeats that his little friend isn’t the sole reason that he is out of his depression.

“I had to work hard, get therapy, take my medication on time. My cat helped me get out of my bed, have a workout routine, eat healthy when I feed him, wake up on time, etc. But I attribute my getting better largely to the strict regime of medication and therapy.”
