Prom is one of the most anticipated and stylish nights of a teen’s life and it can be extremely stressful deciding upon the perfect outfit.
In the Philippines, families prepare for it for months prior, with parents having custom dresses and suits sewn for their children exclusively for the event. For those that can’t afford it, they rent. But, for one creative Filipina teenager, Ciara Gan, sought to create her own dress after she was not satisfied with the output of someone else’s attempt.
With a bit of help from her mother, the teenager was able to finish her own gown in a month, and it looks absolutely stunning.
