Dave Chappelle Surprises Fans with Tickets to His Show

We often read about how celebrities are often estranged from their fans, but the latest story involving comedian Dave Chappelle shows that there are those who really do care.

A woman named Deidra Dickens wanted to see Dave Chappelle’s upcoming stand-up comedy show in North Carolina and managed to find a pair of tickets on Craigslist. However, as soon as Deidra sent over $500, which was the listed price for two tickets, the advertiser took the money and started ghosting her.

The story about this unfortunate event somehow got to the comedian himself, and Chappelle decided to make sure Deidra gets a chance to visit his show by providing her with free tickets. Not only that, but he also personally delivered them to her.

“It felt good. It felt like I just got to make something that was wrong right and it didn’t hurt me or cost me anything to do it, so I’m just happy it worked out,” said Chappelle about his act of kindness.
