Designer Makes Fabric Tree Stumps from Old Clothes with a Story

Tamara Kostianovsky is a textile artist who creates the amazing fabric tree stumps our of some special old clothes. The clothes she uses used to belong to her late father. The message she wants to send with the project revolves around the passing of time and the body returning to the environment after death.

She was inspired by the South Americans’ believing that the mountain range Andes represents the Mother Earth. Check out her awesome fabric trees below.
