Elle Sydney is a huge believer you don’t have to be married to wear a wedding dress, and she’s using the power of social media to promote bridal fashion. She became a true social media sensation after she started sharing videos of wedding dresses inspired by beloved songs.
Before becoming a social media sensation, Sydney went to a community college for fashion design but eventually dropped out. She didn’t feel at home there but found her calling when she started working on social media content, and things really clicked when she became a social media manager for a bridal store Here Comes the Bride.
Sydney developed a unique social media strategy that sees her using popular culture to put the bridal stores she’s promoting on the map. She films herself wearing dresses inspired by different films, TV shows, celebrities, and fictional characters, but her videos inspired by music definitely made the biggest splash, attracting over 400,000 followers to her TikTok page.
We’ve seen Sydney use her bridal videos to pay homage to many of her favorite artists, from Taylor Swift to Lana Del Rey. They see her wearing a few different dresses while a song they’re inspired by plays in the background, creating a magical link between music and bridal fashion.
