Artist Turns Famous Songs into Vintage Book Covers

Todd Alcott is a screenwriter and graphic artist who turns famous songs into vintage book covers. His bestselling covers include 1977’s Elvis Costello’s Watching the Detectives, which he reimagined as a midcentury pulp detective novel, and 1974’s Young Americans by David Bowie which he recreated as a 1950s pulp novel.

Alcott also turned classic novels into a plain, more jaded time such as Nancy Drew’s The Secret of the Missing F**ks.

You can find more of his vintage mashup prints on his online shop and Instagram account.
