Ginnie Hsu’s illustrations and gifs are the best reminders to take each day in stride. Vividly colored and cartoonlike, her work focuses on the happy banality of everyday life.
Her joyous gifs and illustrations combine new and traditional formats. Her work draws inspiration from her own life, and from nature, travel, and old artifacts she randomly finds.
Hailing from Taiwan, and currently based in Starkville, Mississipp, Hsu wroks as an illustrator, gif animator, designer and educator.
She holds a BA in visual communication and an MA in design and visual communication from the University of Texas at Arlington.
