Greg Klassen is a familiar name in the woodworking world thanks to his furniture which combines glass and wood in a really amazing way. Klassen recently presented a new intriguing project, in which he built a series of pieces inspired by archipelagos.
Klassen’s Archipelago Series reflects the shapes and layout of islands when looked from above.
“I’ve discovered a growing fascination with the point that the water meets the land and my archipelago pieces really let me highlight this point of inspiration,” Klassen says about his work.
As all Klassen’s furniture, the pieces from the Archipelago Series have drawn significant attention and brought him invitations to several notable venues including Chicago’s SOFA.
