Hundreds of Artists Craft Affordable Art for Giant Robot’s 14th Annual Post-it Show

Every year, Los Angeles-based gallery Giant Robot holds an event that features art on Post It notes by promising and well-known artists, and sells each one for $25.

This year, the premier exhibition gathered over 400 artists including Yoskay Yamamoto, Anthony Zinonos, Huntz, Luke Chueh, The Simpsons creator Matt Groening, and many more. More than 3,000 art pieces are plastered in Post Its on the gallery’s walls.

The Post It Show is a favorite among art lovers since it makes the art tremendously affordable and accessible. “I think Post-its are great since they’re ubiquitous items that people doodle on and at the same time provides a great medium that confines but at the same time challenges. Have you seen what people are doing on a 3×3″ piece of paper? It’s nuts,” Eric Nakamura, owner and operator of Giant Robot told My Modern Met.

Post It Show 14 ended on December 9 but you can still check out their masterpieces on Instagram.
