Japanese Embroidery Artist Creates Miniature Food

Food art is gaining more ground today. More artists are venturing into food art, and the best part is that they are bringing innovation into it. This Instagrammer dazzled her followers with creative miniatures of food.

Ipnot, a Japanese embroidery artist, uses embroidery hoops and thread to create miniature food. Most of her works include props like chopsticks or ketchup bottles, to add a simple interactive layer to the design.

The textile noodles are usually staged in a slurping position while the ketchup is dolloped on another art work. The designs are mostly realistic and always involve food; she has worked on several designs such as a hovering pizza slice, which appears to be affixed to an embroidery hoop using melted cheese.

The designs are adorable and realistic. They also take some time to create as they require precision. Scroll below to see some of the creative designs.
