Joy’s Handmade Boutique’s Jewelry Takes the Shape of Our Favorite Foods

If you’re a huge fan of handmade jewelry with a quirky twist, Joy’s Handmade Boutique is about to become your next favorite obsession. This polymer clay artist from New Zealand focuses on making delicious-looking jewelry inspired by everyone’s favorite comfort foods.

Joy was just 13 when she first discovered polymer clay and she dabbled with it for a while before taking a break during her high school years. Her secret talent lay dormant for a while, but something shifted during the global pandemic when she found herself searching for a new creative outlet.

She rediscovered her love for polymer clay during this time and found endless joy in experimenting with different designs.

“I specialize in realistic miniature polymer clay food accessories, however, I love making all things cute and whimsical. I tend to get restless making the same designs, this leads to a huge range of unique pieces and regular one-off designs,” she writes on her official website.

The majority of Joy’s creations are made to order, and she mostly focuses on making earrings shaped like different foods. Her most popular videos capture her step-by-step process of making pickle, grape, and toast earrings, and they’ve been viewed by millions of people.
