Reshetnak is a jewelry artist from Siberia, who’s now living her best life with her husband in the English countryside. Her small business was born out of a desire to find a way to express herself creatively while working from home.
“I originally conceived Kami Studios whilst working an online job from home. Sitting at home all day was getting to me so I decided to create these tiny works of art in my breaks. The making process was so gratifying that soon my little sculptures became a business,” she wrote on her official website.
She decided to name her brand Kami Studio after the Japanese Shinto deity of nature because her jewelry pieces are a love letter to wildlife. They have the power to bring everyone who wears them closer to nature, and her love for botany helped her infuse them with ancient meaning, magic, and mystery. In addition to paying homage to nature, she also enjoys recreating famous works of art in miniature form.
