Lacoste’s Iconic Crocodile Logo is Replaced Again By Ten Endangered Species

For the second year in a row, the famous brand Lacoste is replacing its crocodile logo with ten different endangered species for a limited-edition collection of white polo shirts. The polos for each species will only be available in its dedicated store.

It was released on May 22, 2019, which marks the International Day for Biological Diversity.

3,520 polos were spread throughout the world and the number of shirts made depend on the remaining population size of each threatened species. Like for Hawaiian monk seals, Lacoste is producing 1400 polos and 400 for Moheli scops owl.

Sales from the limited-edition shirts will support IUCN’s Save Our Species campaign – a global commitment to face a global issue.
