Nail Salon Turned Into a Global Sensation (and We Totally Get Why!)

The term nail-art has long been considered legit, and nail artist Sharmadean Reid knows best. Launching her legendary salon WAH Nails in Dalston, East London a decade ago, Reid showed locals just how it’s done.

Those were the early days of the economic recession, and Reid needed a little help from her friends to get the business running. But trend-followers and London hipsters were soon to jump on her wagon, doing their nails in true WAH fashion – mixing trashy with classy.

And soon, Reid’s small Dalston salon turned into a global sensation, selling out nail products to major retailers, and starting nail trends that would carry out around the world.

If you want to visit the WAH salon we recommend you book well in advance. Take a glimpse at some of her work below!
