CPR is serious business. It has no business being adorable, but we simply can’t help it. Dogs are often excellent helpers when it comes to offering support to their human counterparts. Some of them are service dogs, offering support to people with difficulties. Others work with law enforcement to catch criminals and also offer to people in trouble.
Poncho, the police dog in the video, can be seen performing CPR and it is the best thing you will see today. He starts by lightly pressing his partner’s chest. Occasionally, he checks his partner’s pulse, putting his head close to the neck. He doesn’t get a response and increases the intensity of his pumps on the chest while checking for his pulse.
It is a simply brilliant performance, and everyone loved it. The video went viral immediately after it was shared. Can your dog do this? Well you can teach him.
