Nick White Shows That Art Can be Playful and Fun

Over time, it seems like we forgot that the point of art is not to be serious at any cost. Nick White is proof that art can indeed be playful and fun. He uses various mediums to express this, including painting, ceramics, collages, and drawing.

White teaches the BA Illustration Animation course at Kingston School of Art. He’s a firm believer that “more creatives should be able to turn their hand to a variety of different disciplines and skills.”

I have put a bunch of my ceramics up on my shop. Plates and bowls Etc. Each of these are one offs hence the fact they are more expensive than your regular crockery from Ikea Etc. If you live in London Town and would rather not pay the extortionate postal fees I have made up, then pick up can be arranged. (Just Dm me) This bowl was a collaboration with my excellent mum aka @jackiewhiteceramics Who did the hard bit of making the bowl and I got to do the easy bit of painting patterns and faces on it. #sellingsellingselling #buybuybuy #wonkyplatesandbowls
