Meet Tokyo-based baker who goes by the name Konel Bread. Everything that looks impossible to you, she can make it and it’s all made from bread!
From leopard print patterns to watermelon slices – with their black seeds to make it look more realistic – to cute cartoon characters like Winnie the Pooh, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Sponge Bob, and Keroppi.
She uses only natural colors from spinach puree, cocoa, matcha powder, several kinds of fruits, vegetables, and seeds. Making illustrations out of bread is what gives color to her life which is a never-ending story for her. And, while she sells her pastries around Tokyo, her most loyal customer is her son.
