The Potato Hotel Will Be Loved By Many But Not So Much By Claustrophobics

Big Idaho Potato Hotel is a 6-ton potato recycled from the Idaho Potato Commission’s Big Idaho Potato Tour. It has traveled on the back of a semi truck to 48 states for seven years.

Now, the gigantic potato rests on 400 acres of Idaho farmland, just south of downtown Boise. The hotel has been skilfully designed by Kristie Wolfe, a former Big Idaho Potato Tour spokesperson. It is good for farm stay for two guests and has one bedroom, a bed, and a bath.

The design features chic private comfort and amenities such as power outlets, old records to play and a custom-built comfy bed. The hotel also has a customized silo turned into a spa retreat that is ideal for soaking while looking up at the starry skies. The rate per night is $200 and they can assure you it’s worth your money.
