These Huge Flower Bouquets Are Made Using Only Paper

Paper has forever been artists’ favorite medium, forming a blank canvas for them to draw on, but not only… For paper artists, the actual magic is within the blank papers themselves.

Take for instance Danish paper artist, Marianne Eriksen-Scott Hansen. For years, she’s been making marvelous paper flowers, formed by 50 to 60 layers of papers, and a pair of scissors.

Graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1995, 
Eriksen-Scott Hansen has since designed for brands like Levi Strauss and Georg Jensen.

Her “paper couture” pieces have grabbed the world’s attention, and other brands were quick to hire her. In addition to her work with industrial products, she makes spectacular hand cut accessories. These were adorned by Björk and Steven Tyler among others.
