These Painters Encourage You to Fail Spectacularly

Italian-French duo Marroni-Ouanely’s want to inspire you to fail and actually enjoy the process. Their vividly colored paintings feature cartoon-like dogs that were made by using the artists’ less dominant hand.

According to the two artists, they’ve switched to their left hands “in order to destabilize the technique, erase the know-how and thus leave the field open to their unconscious.”

By sticking to their wrong hands, their paintings seem at times unfinished, full with scratches and scribbles that expose their failed attempts. The result? A playful exhibition that will bring out your inner child.

Because, between us, perfection is boring. Why not try and fail at art? Who knows, your failure might turn out to be as successful.

Check out some of their child-like visions.
