If you are looking for unconventional footwear, then Kayla Stojek has just the thing you are looking for. Stojek is an Austin-based shoe artist who makes incredible horror and Goth-themed shoes and boots.
Stojek started making custom clothes and shoes for herself and her friend as a hobby. In 2011, she made a pair of extreme heels for Halloween, and people were amazed by her creation. Soon she started getting requests from others, who wanted their own pair, and Stojek decided to become more serious about her work.
She started selling her shoes under the Zombie Peepshow brand and met with overwhelmingly positive reactions. Her creations even found their way to wardrobes of celebrities with Whoopie Goldberg and Marilyn Manson being among them.
Since she is an avid fan of horror movies, Stojek draws the majority of inspiration for her creations from there. So far, she made shoes inspired by Poltergeist, Black Christmas, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist, Halloween, and many others.
