Three Boys Gave Flowers to All the Girls in School for Valentine’s Day

Three boys from Kansas decided to make this year’s Valentine’s Day special for girls in their Summit Trail Middle School in Olathe, Kansas, by gifting each of them flowers. Boys used their own money to buy pink carnations and then devised a plan for their adorable act with school’s principal Sarah Guerrero.

According to Guerrero, boys – Tristan Valentine, Kyan Rice, and Lincoln Holmes – wanted to make all girls and female staff members feel special for Valentine’s Day and even offered words of encouragement like “Happy Valentine’s Day” and “Hope you feel special today” while handing out the flowers. In total, 270 girls and 70 staff members received the flowers.

“We wanted every girl to feel important and special on Valentine’s Day,” – Valentine told KMBC. “We worked hard to make sure it was going to be a surprise to everybody. I only told a few friends, and the girls seemed surprised and happy.”
